Mike Alexander founded Northern Metering Services in 1992 in Sudbury, Ontario. Mike moved to Sudbury and quickly realized that there was market here for a petroleum service contractor. In 2005 Northern Metering opened a service branch based out of Oakville, Ontario allowing the growing customer base needs to be met across Ontario. For over 25 years now Northern Metering has been a dominate presence in Ontario having contracts with Shell Aviation, Esso Aviation and now World Fuel Services. Over the years Northern Metering has been constantly adapting to the fast changing ways of the fuel industry being one of the first registered companies in Ontario under the Measurement Canada authorized service provider program. Northern Metering has diversified over the years from truck repairs and meter calibrations to being able to build cardlock systems to meet all types of customer needs.
